Maggie, Director of Parish Life at Salem Lutheran, stopped by to play with Sam yesterday. I was so impressed with how she focused on Sam and just had fun making up storylines with the new truck/magnet book she brought for him.
We had fun reading the first of many Bible stories from the kid's Bible book she left too. Sam used the story of Jesus walking on water for his daily homework assignment last night -great!
Grandpa Don stopped by and ate lunch with us yesterday, too. Thanks for your company! We are now fully stocked with juice and snacks!
Gabe and Sam had fun painting small wooden boxes in the shape of a star at the monthly birthday party last night. It is wonderful how siblings are welcomed into the fold here!
