...just got our most recent update -- They're about an hour away from closing up, which means it'll probably be about two hours before we get to see him.
In recovery, he's going to have a morphine drip, as well as Valium to prevent muscle spasms in his back -- which is a common occurrence with dorsal rhizotomy. He'll need to be flat on his back for a couple of days -- they say it's the hardest part for the child...but by Saturday, Sam should be feeling pretty good.
