Another busy day

Sam spent another busy day in therapy today. He is continuing to make daily progress. One of the physical therapists even commented that he was doing something in the afternoon that he wasn't able to do well that same morning!

Grandma Marsha took Sam to therapy this a.m. while I toured a language immersion school in St. Paul we're hoping Sam will attend next year - very exciting! Twice today I managed to forget that I didn't have a car at the hospital, so I used Marsha's car to go to the school. Then, I had to ask Grandpa Don to pick up Gabe from school because I didn't have a way to get there! Thanks for jumping in as I lose important details like transportation!

Pastor Marilyn stopped by to visit with Sam today. He was able to tell her about the Bible story he read the night before and wrote about in his journal. Sam will definitely use the notepad and pen, as well as the fidget toy - thanks!

Auntie Hope came by to drop off some movies for Sam and was able to come along to a therapy appointment and play CandyLand and Tic-Tac-Toe with Sam - fun!

We're still trying to refine Sam's schedule so he can get enough rest and time to fuel up on snacks in between therapies. I mentioned in an earlier post that we'd like to begin keeping visits to brief visits after dinner, Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Thanks for understanding.

If you're calling the house, just know that we are trying to get to voicemail every other day. E-mail is a great way to keep in touch, as we have a laptop to use at the hospital.

Thanks again for your continued prayers and good wishes as Sam continues to work hard in therapy.
