Two hours in and everything is going well - Sam's doing great.
As soon as Sam went in, Carlynn and my Dad went down to the cafeteria to grab some stuff. On the way back up, they ran into our Neurosurgeon in the elevator. Carlynn said she was a bit concered to see her -- but the first 30-45 minutes under are occupied with placing electrodes and positioning the patient...so the Doc wasn't needed for a while. I'm glad it was Carlynn and not me - I think I would have gotta freaked out by that...
They're updating us every hour, so we'll be giving another update later...
