Sat update

Sam had a full week of physical therapy, working with a teacher from his school to get caught up on homework, and getting the garden ready for planting! Sam was able to sit on a blanket next to the garden and use a garden tool to break up clumps of dirt. I was happy to see him having fun helping until I noticed he was getting dirt all over his legs - and probably down into his casts! I hadn't thought about putting long pants on him to prevent this from happening. So far it has not provoked any complaints of major itching - he still has 10 days until his casts come off.

Sam is counting the days until he gets his casts off so he can start pool therapy. He is also REALLY looking forward to seeing his friends at school again. He is such a social guy who thrives on his friendships.
