Sam is now using a walker to move around the house and works on new exercises each day, in addition to physical therapy 3x/week. On Thursday, a teacher from his school came to the house to help Sam get caught up on his schoolwork. He was completely absorbed in the meeting for 90 minutes (all of it in French)!
Sam was able to attend a classmate's birthday party yesterday,too. He wrote and recorded a song for his BFF (best friend forever) Lydia - what a cool kid!
Starting tomorrow, I'm home with Sam for my three week shift. I'm looking forward to spending more time with him and helping him make that transition back to his regular routine. By the end of the next three weeks, Sam will be back at school to finish the year with his classmates.
